1. Who we are
This website (2102.io) is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (ABN [ABN]), trading as 2102 ("we", "us", "our"). This policy tells you how we handle personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. The information we collect
We collect the information that you give us, the technical data that a web server records, and analytics data (see section 2a).
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.
- Checklist form: your name and email address.
- Email and calls: the information that you send us or tell us when you work with us.
- Server logs: our web host records your IP address, browser type, the pages that you open, and the time of each request. The host uses these logs for security and to run the website.
2a. Analytics and cookies
We use two analytics tools to learn which pages people read and how they find us.
- Google Analytics: sets cookies in your browser and records the pages that you open, how you arrived (for example, from a search engine or an AI assistant), your approximate location, your device type, and when you send one of our forms. It does not receive the text that you enter in a form. Google processes this data for us. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or with the cookie settings of your browser.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts page visits without cookies and without personal identifiers.
We do not use advertising cookies. If we add advertising tags, we will update this policy first.
You can contact us without your full name. If you do not give us an email address or a phone number, we cannot reply to you.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your message and to arrange a call.
- To give you the checklist that you asked for.
- To supply our services, and to send quotes and invoices.
- To keep the website secure and to find faults.
- To learn which pages are useful, and to improve the website.
- To obey the law.
We do not send you marketing emails unless you agree. Each marketing email has a link that stops all further marketing email, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers that we need to run the business:
- Formspree: receives the data that you enter in our forms, stores it, and sends it to us by email.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website, protects it from attacks, keeps the server logs, and counts visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
- Google: processes website analytics (Google Analytics).
- Our email provider: stores the emails that you send us.
We also disclose information when the law requires it, for example to a court or a government agency.
5. Storage outside Australia
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Australia, for example in the United States and in Europe. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard that is similar to the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. How we protect and keep it
We use services that encrypt data in transit (HTTPS). We limit access to the people who need the data to do their work. We keep personal information only while we need it for the purposes in section 3, or while the law tells us to keep it. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
7. Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information that we hold about you. You can also ask us to correct it or to delete it. Send your request to [CONTACT EMAIL]. We reply within 30 days. We do not charge a fee for a request.
8. Complaints
If you think that we did not handle your information correctly, email us at [CONTACT EMAIL]. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
9. Changes to this policy
We can change this policy. We show the new date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will tell the people on our email list.
